Open Position - Software Engineer
Join us at Mechination to learn from experienced technical leaders how to deliver software efficiently to some of Boorloo's most prominent companies. Develop your technical and communication skills, whilst building out new software solutions.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop, test, deploy and maintain software solutions using best practices.
- Participate in design and architecture workshops, under the direction of senior engineers
- Write clean, readable, and maintainable code
- learn how to effectively communicate in corporate environments with competing priorities and other vendors
Qualifications
- 2+ years of professional software development experience
- Knowledge of at least one modern programming language
Ideal Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science or equivalent industry experience
- Experience working in corporate IT environments
Desirable skills
- A demonstrated desire to learn new skills and technologies
- Full stack development experience
- An understanding of how the cloud works
Conditions
Pay will be based on market rates and will be commensurate with the applicant’s experience and capabilities. We are open to both full time and fixed term contract conditions.
We are open to hiring candidates to work in the Perth greater metropolitan area, Western Australia only. Work location will depend on customer expectations and may be a mix of work from home and/or on customer sites.
